John Michael Clover of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, June 7, 2026 at his home. He was 78.
John was born November 13, 1947 in Jefferson City, MO to Harold and Virginia (Montague) Clover. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and owned and operated Langston Pest Control in Miami, OK. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami, OK and was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus in Miami. He loved fly fishing and teaching others how to fly fish and also taught fly fishing at Afton Vo-Tech. He loved skeet shooting, tennis, sailing and made missionary rosaries. He was a member of the Miami Elks Lodge No. 1320 and served as an officer.
John was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Judy Miramadi, 2 cousin, Bobby Casey and Kathleen Clover.
John is survived by his wife Donna (Mills) Clover, children, Justin Cicotte and partner Lori Walker, Jameson Clover and husband Matthew, Jackie Reece and husband Scott and Jeremy Clover and wife Missy and 8 grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. following the rosary. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami, OK with inurement following in Welch Cemetery in Welch, OK. Family requests no flowers but have a Mass said for John. If Attending the Rosary or Service, donation $10.00 in an envelope with john’s name on it .
