Ronald V. Eisenberg, 64, Overland Park, Kan., passed away October 19, 2013. Ron was born Dec. 17, 1948, to Yale and Anne Eisenberg in Wichita, Kan. His funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66212. Survivors include his sons, Nicholas and Liam; brothers, Barry (Betty) and Sheldon; nieces and nephews; and former wife, Terri. In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution to a charity of your choice .
I remember his friendly manner; he seemed warm & welcoming. Shy about boys (painfully), I never did anything about getting to know him better. However I felt surprised and a bit saddened when I saw this In-Memory post. I had a bit of a (secret) crush on him.
